Zirconia Beads Improve Efficiency in Coating And Painting Industry Grinding

Zirconia beads are grinding media which were made of zirconia (ZrO₂) and sintered at high temperatures. With characteristics such as a Mohs hardness of 8.5 (close to corundum), a bulk density of 5.6–6.0 g/cm³ (high specific gravity), an extremely low wear rate (<50 ppm/h for low contamination), and resistance to acid and alkali corrosion (stable at pH 1–14). It can reduce costs, increase solid content, enhance performance, and improve process operating conditions in coatings and painting industry grinding application.
