Why We Choose Ceramic Igniters Instead Of Metal Cartridge Heaters?

As ceramic igniters are faster and hotter than metal cartridge heaters, so many customers would like to choose ceramic igniters instead of metal cartridge heaters

We have done the test to compare pellet igniters and metal cartridges heaters and found that while the ceramic igniter reaches 800°C within 40 s and maximum temperature of 1008°C after 100 s, a conventional metal cartridge heater only reaches 800°C after 3 min 40s and a maximum temperature of 830 after more than 4 min.

Ceramic igniters are 5.5 times faster than metal heaters and 175°C hotter. In addition, the life span of a ceramic igniter is more than 3 to 5 times longer than a metal igniter and can achieve more ignition cycles (more than 100000 cycles in the laboratory).

All in all, alumina ceramic igniters are definitively the best choice to ignite wood pellets or biomass. Besides that, it could also be used in gas heating systems, ovens, ranges, dryers, and more.

Other advantages are as below:

Low porosity
High operating temperature
Corrosion resistant
Long-lasting
Easy to install and retrofit
