High Temperature Heater can use in future Mars-Robot ExoMars-Rover

Innovacera’s high temperature heater has below advantages:
1. The heating elements can be built extremely small and lightweight which help the machine to consume very little energy when heating up to the high temperature reach to 1000degree.

PBN plates can be used as insulation pads, gaskets, stents and other materials, which can be used in the field of vacuum, high temperature and MBE equipment.

Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) is a white solid material that is non-porous, and non-toxic. While Boron Nitride can be formed by pressing or sintering methods, the high-purified PBN products are processed by a vapor deposition process with extremely low pressure under high temperature of 1800℃.

Characteristic

  1. PBN material can resist the high temperature of 2300℃ in a vacuum environment and 2700℃ in ammonia atmosphere.
  2. High purity (>99.99%). And it will not release gas impurities when services at high temperature.
  3. Good toughness. It is similar to the hexagonal structure of graphite.
  4. Good insulation at high temperature. The volume resistivity is 3.11×1011Ω·cm
  5. Chemical inertness. Good corrosion resistance of acid, alkali and organic solvent.
  6. It can reduce the heat waste by preventing heat conduction.

Ceramic Reflector is made by high purity porous alumina ceramic of 99% Al2O3 content, used extensively for long-life laser reflectors. This material is sintered at high temperatures to achieve a controlled porosity.

Ceramic Reflector features:

  • Compared to metal reflectors, ceramic units offer higher reflectivity and therefore enhanced laser power.
  • Surfaces can be sealed and coated with a solarization-resistant glaze to give high bulk reflectivity

We can machine or grind ceramic reflectors against the customer’s drawings. Quantities range from prototype to production quantities. Glazing protects the surface in preventing adhesion of impurities and primarily ensures leak tightness of the reflectors.

MCH Heater

MCH HEATER

The MCH Heater is called Metal Ceramic Heater.

They are doing by HTCC. The short description is as below:

  • Painting the high melting point metal(tungsten) paste on to the Al2O3 casting tape in coordinate to the circuit design, then another layer of sintering additives. After that, repeating the process to build multiple layers. Then, they are sintered together under 1600 °C hydrogen gas environment.
  • Finally, nickel leads are brazed at 800 °C onto the metal end and put on with Teflon sleeve, which make it a MCH heating element.
  • It is a new type of high efficient heating elements, which can save more than 20%-30% power effect compare to PTC ceramic heaters.
  • Our alumina ceramic heaters have many excellent features that do not exist in the sheath heaters:
    1. High power density, excellent thermal efficiency
    2. Rapid heating, non-hotspot temperature distribution
    3. High temperature, small size, light weight
    4.  Excellent insulation (the leakage current is < 0.5 mA under voltage 4500V/1S testing with no breakdown)
